non-Profit Music Therapy

Music Impact

Music Impact is an Organization focused on under privileged and struggling individuals in the urban city of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Music is a powerful source in our world today through instrument, vocal and lyrics.  According to a study in the magazine "The Atlantic" in 2013, music has an immediate effect on a person's emotions and a long-term effect on both brain structure and function.  Our hope is to implement a service of music based on this research.  With Christ at the center, we hope to teach people how to write music in a positive way to apply what they learned for life and inspire others along the way.

Mission

We provide a fun and safe environment for under privileged youth, adults, and others in central Indy to work through life.  By working against fear and anger we hope to use it as a motivation for change through the power of music.  By teaching music, our hope is to help them draw away from the problems and instead focus on how the struggle can be overcome by talking about it through music.

Christ overcame, so that we could overcome.

We all go through challenges in life, but it is how we respond that matters.  Everyone makes mistakes and life will have its setbacks, but look at them as opportunities for growth.
